Spectacular circa 1930s Art Deco fruitwood cabinet attributed to French designer and sculptor André Arbus. Featuring stunning gold leaf Verre Églomisé detail on the central panel which depicts a classical floral arrangement. Sitting atop of a floating platform stationed above four angular feet capped in brass sabots.
The double doors display an intricate use of wood to create a contrast toned border. These open to reveal two separate storage compartments, the left has two pull out / pull-out drawers and a shelf and the right is an open cabinet with a single removable shelf.
Hardware, wood selection for interiors and exterior, construction and design all match the high quality work of André Arbus. This exceptional piece would be fitting for the discerning collector client or luxury designer.
