Approximately 70 years old, this circa 1950s cabinet with design attributed by repute to Osvaldo Borsani features carved walnut handles and turned legs with lacquered goatskin drawers and door face.
This incredible Italian Modernist walnut and vellum small cabinet has just completed restoration to both the attractively grained Walnut and exotic lacquered goatskin cabinet face. Beautiful and ready for immediate use.
This Osvaldo Borsani attributed Italian Modernist petite cabinet, small sideboard, night stand, bedside table, chest of drawers, commode, would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Post-Modern, Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
