Six Moller Model-71 Dining Chairs w Peter Hvidt Model-311 Dining Table, 1950s
A wonderful pairing of six Moller Model-71 dining chairs with rush seating and a Peter Hvidt Model-311 Extendable teak dining table. This set was originally purchased in circa late 1950s and kept in an east coast estate until recently when we acquired and refinished the set.

(ABOUT THE CHAIRS):
This incredible set of six 'Model 71' teak dining by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, circa 1950s, was just refinished and ready to be placed immediately into your interior design project. Featuring beautiful vintage teak wood in excellent condition and vintage rush seats with attractive light patina.
As seen in the photos, we have a Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen Model 311 teak extendable dining table (also circa 1950s) with leaf to pair with these chairs and can be purchased together. This set of chairs was originally paired with the dining table from an east coast estate where they were in use since originally purchased. This 1950s teak dining set by Niels Otto Moller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. This beautifully refinished Model 311 teak extendable dining table by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbler, designed in 1956, comes with a single leaf and is stamped on the underside of both the table and the leaf. Features an elegant round top with attractive teak graining supported by turned and tapered legs. Newly refinished and ready for immediate use.
This teak Mid-Century Modern dining table is the perfect staple for any modern dining room. Expandable with a single leaf bringing the overall width to 70.5", and very spacious depth of 47.25", this table can comfortably seat four (4) when collapsed and six (6) people when extended (see pics with 6 Moller Model 71 dining chairs, also available for purchase as a set).
Refinished and ready for immediate use, pieces like this were made with high quality materials and craftsmanship that you don't find in todays manufacturing.
