Sculptural 'S'-Chaise longue by Walter Lamb for Brown Jordan, circa late 1960s to mid 1970s and is signed with an early Brown Jordan label. This curvy collectors piece features a tubular bronze frame light verdigris patinated finish and has been newly re-strung with woven sail cord, a braided cotton with a nylon core to prevent stretching. This new cording retains the integrity of the design while allowing the lounger to be fully functional and enjoyed for years to come. Excellent collectors piece as this example is signed with an early Brown Jordan label which is rare to find.

This beautiful early production example of Walter Lamb's work is made of high quality materials and the kind of craftsmanship that no longer exists. Beware of new production examples, the ones that have been made in recent years by DWR are NOT of the same construction and do not carry the collectibility value or quality in materials and construction as the original early production versions. Many online listings are incorrect and falsely list a newer set as being original.
