Impressive trompe-l'œil leather book coffee table by Maitland Smith, circa 1990, that would make a fantastic conversation starter for any space. The whimsical table's surface is made up of one large antique looking hardback book stacked on top of two more antique styled books with gold embossed details and hidden in the spine of each book is a pull out drawer lined with pretty paisley paper. A Maitland Smith brass placard is inside one drawer.

Very good vintage condition with light wear and patina. Some hard to see impressions to the top. Some light rubs, small scratches and minor scuffs throughout, including on legs and edges. Overall very attractive and well-cared-for example ready for immediate use.
