This unique collectors item is the 'Cammei' coffee table by Piero Fornasetti, signed underneath with its original label. The coffee table is made with lacquered wood that has a white and red cameos motif and is affixed via screws on top of an Italian Modernist Gio Ponti styled black metal base with brass height adjustable feet, the top is removable from the base for easy and economical shipping or transport. Restored in a French Polish Lacquered finish and looks much more incredible in person than the photos can show. It's deep watery finish makes it exceptionally smooth and gleamingly beautiful.

The 'Cammei' motif (which translates to Cameos in Italian) in various colors are documented in the book "Fornasetti, The Complete Universe", this rare piece is sought after by interior designers and collectors alike. Perfect piece to add a little splash of whimsy and intrigue into your interior decor. This motif is found in various colors and to some resemble the look of Greek or Roman coins. The red cameos very much 'pops' off of the white background and due to the unique size of this table could be the perfect solution for many interior design projects where you feel you are missing that one special piece to slip in and complete the look.

CONDITION: Excellent condition, we masterfully restored this in a French Polish lacquer and is ready for immediate use. Base has age appropriate patina. The brass feet can be polished to a shine upon request.
