This beautiful 1970s Craftsman desk features a floating double live-edge top, three drawers on the right pedestal along with a center pencil drawer and a pull out writing surface. The wood appears to be an exotic wood, we believe it to be Koa wood. The top is split into two slabs, each facing the opposite direction to give both ends of the desk a live-edge. The grain is phenomenal all over the desk from the top to the sides and the back and front as well.

This 70's crafts man live-edge Sam Maloof / George Nakashima styled desk would work great in a Craftsman home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Mid-Century Modern, Arts and Crafts, Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Classical, Industrial or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. With such unique style and robust quality, this desk would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge, members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
