Mastercraft Brass Commode Dresser with Chinese Character Brass Pulls, circa 1970

Rare, highly sought after, and of incredible quality, this brass dresser is by Mastercraft, designed and produced in the 1970s and is in excellent well cared for condition. Soft patina to brass is very attractive and is even throughout.

Three separate drawers each with four large solid brass handles with Chinese characters. The body of drawers are constructed of light wood and is in close to new condition. This cabinet has plenty of age but was in a home where this got very little use. Given is age, likely a room in a high priced home that was seldomly used over the decades.

This rare chest of drawers by Mastercraft is very heavy and sturdy. Its heft is from the extremely high quality materials and construction went into the craftsmanship by Mastercraft on this brass commode. The subtle details from the drawer joinery to heavy solid brass drawer pulls, and the thick brass used throughout, this is an excellent example of incredible design for any high end home, office or hotel.
