This beautiful extendable ebonized wood dining table was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1972 and manufactured by Sorgente del Mobili, Italy as part of the 'Programma S11' series. This dining table features twelve slatted lefts connected to a circular base, the top extends to reveal a hidden leaf which folds out and connects to increase the size to perfectly seat six.

This Angelo Mangiarotti extension dining table which extends from a circle to an oval shape would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
