Aged Cognac Leather Bird Chairs by Fabricius & Kastholm for Alfred Kill, 1960s

But casual, character, aged, refined, rugged, effortless, those are also equally as describing.

This aged and worn-in leather Model FK 6727, 'Bird' bucket chair, also commonly referred to as the 'Tulip' chair, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, manufactured in Germany by Alfred Kill International, circa 1960 has a soft, supple and comfortable removable leather cover over a leather-clad fiberglass sculpted seat. The color is a medium brown with some warm tan tones, also referred to as Cognac leather. Some in the set are more tan in color, contact us to select which example you wish us to send to you.

This example currently is photographed and offered with a 5-star base on casters. Alternate bases can be swapped for this chair, we generally have stock in the Classic 3-prong base on feet, swivel base and caster base along with various 5-star bases including ones with casters and ones with feet, some that swivel and some that are stationary and even some that can be raised or lowered with a height adjustment lever.

Very good original vintage condition. Frame and base are sturdy and structurally sound. The leather has beautiful patina built up over time with an aged and worn-in feel with heavier patina concentrating on the arms.
