Currently, the most coveted dining chairs by interior designers are the 'Tucroma' chairs by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani, and we have this incredible set of four (4) vintage Tucroma armchairs in beautiful black leather with rare black frames (Black on Black which is the most in-demand and desirable colorway of vintage Tucroma chairs). The seats and backs retain the original supple black leather upholstery and are attached to graceful black steel tubular frames, as well as being bridged together by wide black saddle leather straps at the back with hand-tied detail. Under some of the seats are the i4Mariani labels.

*Note, we have another set of 6 available in this color combination which can combine with this set to make a set of up to 10 chairs in total. Contact us to discuss if you wish to make a larger set.

i4 Mariani was a specialty Italian design division of the Pace Collection and Guido Faleschini was the star designer who created famous designs such as the Tucroma line and a line of bedroom furniture for Hermès. We carry a large selection of designs by i4 Mariani and Guido Faleschini, contact us if you are looking for anything else.

While vintage Tucroma chairs are difficult to get as they are so in-demand by interior designers and collectors alike, the unique colorway of black leather on black frames are even harder to find. This is an interior design magazine cover worthy set of chairs and would look so amazing with a marble or travertine dining table, such as designs by Angelo Mangiarotti and Roche Bobois or lacquered goatskin tables by Karl Springer and Steve Chase. Or check out our photos of our Philip and Kelvin LaVerne K'ang Tao dining table which looks amazing with black on black Tucroma chairs. Contact us for some other options of tables to pair with this set of chairs.

This sleek set of Tucroma dining / arm / side chairs would inject some 1970s Italian modern into any interior and would compliment various locations such as a Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, Postmodern, neoclassical, or Transitional dining room, living room, den, games room, office space, entryway or bedroom. Consider using as a throne chair, lounge chair, side chair, occasional chair, consider even for a dressing room or large walk in closet. Would be great as a reading armchair or chair to soak in a view. It would also be perfect in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office, or in a luxe clothing emporium. Consider pairing with items from Leon Rosen for Pace, Charles Hollis Jones, Vladimir Kagan or Pierre Paulin. Also can work great with a Willy Rizzo, Maison Jansen or Aldo Tura dining / breakfast / cafe / game table.
