Brass and Lucite Display Coffee Table with Moving Gears

This wild and unique piece, which functions excellent as custom coffee table, low console table or display table, is from a Coach display window and was used to spin 3 large spinning advertising towers that spelled out HIS / HERS (see last photo). While operating, the gears inside of the display base move and spins three separate gears that can connect to above.
Constructed from Brass and Lucite - the table is extremely heavy which is an indication of quality materials and parts, an electrical box with plug is used to power the gears. Currently the electrical power box is non-operable but can be made to work or replaced with a new power box. The gears inside are functional. The cable can be removed so that you can use this without power or made to work so you can plug it in and have the gears spin. Excellent option for an artist or interior designer looking for something unique that can serve as functional art.
