Charles Hollis Jones Waterfall Lucite Dining Chairs, Set of Eight, circa 1970
This set of eight elegant Charles Hollis Jones dining chairs feature cascading lucite arms which transition gracefully to form the waterfall legs. Designed and made in the 1970s, the fabric and foam cushioning are newer and in very good condition and ready to be used immediately. Or if you have a fabric or leather in mind that you would like to update the chairs in - let us know and we can assist in reupholstery.
The lucite on these chairs are very thick; much heftier than the Hill Manufacturing and Pace lucite chairs that are much more commonly seen. This rare Charles Hollis Jones set of eight Waterfall dining chairs are a great value with thick quality lucite frames.
These gorgeous Charles Hollis Jones lucite Waterfall armchairs would look great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. Consider using as side chairs, dining, cafe or breakfast table chairs, bedside chairs, fireside chairs, dressing or changing room chairs, hallway chairs, entryway or mudroom chairs, nursing or reading chairs, conference room chairs, office or desk guest chairs, lobby lounge chairs or occasional chairs ideal in virtually any setting.
