Early Florence Knoll No. 75 Stool for Knoll Associates, circa 1950
Florence Knoll designed No. 75 stool for Knoll Associates. Comprised of a round birch seat supported by three wrought iron hairpin style legs with white enamel finish and the original early Knoll Associates manufacturing label underneath the seat. The enamel pertains signs of scuffs and rubs giving the metal a distressed look which can be highly desirable. This nifty little piece can be employed as a stool or side table. These stools are also stackable for ease of storage, should you be looking to acquire a collection.
This simply constructed stool would tuck in neatly beside a sofa, armchair, next to a bed as a side table or nightstand. Alternatively it can be employed for its original purpose as casual stool in the kitchen, den, conservatory or office. It would also be great in a hospitality or corporate location such as, a boutique hotel, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium.
