This restored Model 2135 extendable dining table with four leaves by Gio Ponti for Singer & Sons features gorgeously veined Italian Walnut with sculpted legs to Gio Ponti's signature form, capped with brass sabots. Signed with original 'M. Singer & Sons New York - Chicago' label.

Documented in the Singer & Sons, manufacturer's catalog, this exquisite collectors piece can be used as a round cafe table table but also includes four 16-inch leaves and insertable center legs allowing the table to extend up to 104 inches when fully extended - perfect for entertaining a large group of guests.

This Gio Ponti for Singer & Sons sculptural dining table or desk would work great in an Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Post-Modern or Mid-Century Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, Danish Modern or Zen / Minimalist room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, or Classical room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
