Harry Bertoia for Knoll Associates Model 428C Barstool, Signed First Generation

This early production and all original Harry Bertoia for Knoll Associates Molded Shell Bar Height (Model 428-C) Barstool is a first generation production from the mid/late 1950s to early 1960s and constructed of welded steel rods that make up the bar height stool's base and fiberglass reinforced nylon shell covered by the original white vinyl seat cover.

The early Knoll Associates 320 Park Ave label can be found under the seat making this a very collectible early production example.

This Classic chair can be a great addition to any decor for a Classic, Contemporary or Mid-Century Modern, kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room, living room, den, man (or woman!) cave, family room, office or bedroom.
