Mahogany and Beveled Glass Bowfront Vitrine Display Cabinet, circa 1930's
This beautiful circa 1930 art deco vitrine cabinet was constructed in gorgeous deep brown Mahogany, featuring a bowfront design with beveled glass for door panes and adjustable / removable wood shelves. Quality shelf brackets on the interior help to identify this art deco piece as a high-end piece when it was originally made.
Consider using this sophisticated and classy display cabinet for all kinds of storage needs, from towels and bedding, to dinnerware, or as a liquor cabinet or cupboard. Would work great in an Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Post-Modern or Mid-Century Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, Danish Modern or Zen / Minimalist room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, or Classical room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
