Stilnovo Attributed 17-Arm Red Sputnik Chandelier, circa 1950

Eye-catching Italian chandelier circa 1950 attributed to Stilnovo. This classic light fixture is comprised of seventeen black arms projecting from a spherical center with contrast red cone sockets at the ends. An amazing way to add some pop color to your dining room, living room or other room.

The fixture is very clearly vintage and appears to be correct to 1950s Italy. As these designs are hugely popular in the design community, many new producers have copied these designs in contemporary pieces. If you want an authentic vintage piece, with the quality of craftsmanship that has been lost in recent years, and desire the rarity and collectability of the 1950s versions - this is a great option for you or your client.

This is currently hanging in the gallery owners home dining room as can be seen in the photos. A new ceiling cap was utilized since the ceiling is on a slope and needed a cap that could accommodate the steep angle. We can provide this to you upon request if your ceiling is also at an angle. We will also provide the original ceiling cap as well, which is not photographed.

This Sputnik / Galaxy pendant light would look striking centered over a dining table or used to illuminate a classic, contemporary or mid-century modern living room, entryway, staircase, den, man (or woman!) cave, family room, office or bedroom.
