A wonderful combination of pieces by two seminal Mid-Century Modern designers. This pairing features a tall and slender table lamp by Tony Paul for Westwood Industries. Comprising of a combination of turned walnut and gleaming brass to form a curvaceous and sleek lineation.

The shade was created by designer-craftsman Maria Kipp, who was renown for producing custom handwoven materials, as exhibited in this item. Only made in limited small quantities, her lampshades are now quite collectible and rare. Comprised of woven chenille, wool, and lurex, this unique hand produced textile features shades of warm mid-tone brown and sand.

The complimentary styles and color palette used in both these pieces are well combined to create a fitting partnership. The neutral, organic tones would fit right in to any residential interior. They would also be a great pair in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office, or in a luxe clothing emporium.

Lamp measurements: 45" height (top of harp) x 7" diameter

Both pieces in excellent vintage condition. As expected, minor signs of use commensurate with their age are evident. Please contact us for a full condition report.
