Walter Lamb for Brown Jordan Bronze Square Side or Occasional Table, 1960s

This highly-sought-after and collectible bronze patio side table was designed by Walter Lamb and produced by Brown Jordan. This rare original early production example is from the earlier years of Lamb's work with Brown Jordan, dating to the 1960s. This bronze cafe table is comprised of a tubular bronze frame featuring the original highly attractive verdigris patinated finish with vintage textured glass which can be changed to new glass with your choice of tint and texture.

Walter Lamb experimented with leftover copper and bronze tubing from World War II, his designs are now highly collected pieces of functional art and a Classic staple for high-end luxury interior designers and architects. They are the perfect blend of Mid-Century Modern design, art and quality, the kind of quality you don't find in the products of today.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with nice original patina to bronze frame. Underneath the glass the prior owner had rubber pads which we removed and those areas lack the greenish patina but will develop quickly and blend in with normal outdoor use. Sturdy and structurally sound. Glass is vintage with light wear, can be replaced upon request. Presents well, ready for immediate use.
