*SOLD* KEM Weber Cantilever 'Springer' Armchair for Lloyd, Circa 1930Automaton Vintage Furnishings
An eye catching and comfortable American Art Deco arm chair designed by Karl Emmanuel Martin (KEM) Weber for Lloyd Manufacturing, circa 1935. Referred to as the “Springer” chair, this sculptural armchair sits atop flat band chrome steel springs allowing it to function as rocker. The base and frame are comprised of flat banded and tubular chrome. The thick cushions pertain the original forest green vinyl with matching forest green painted wood armrests.
This robust yet sleekly designed chair would compliment various locations such as a living room, games room, den, study, or covered porch. It would also be great in a hospitality, retail or corporate location such as, a boutique hotel, members club, workspace studio, executive office, hip hair salon or industrial style clothing emporium.
