Newly imported from a private collector in Brazil, these truly one of a kind prototype lounge chairs by Percival Lafer encapsulates his conceptual, high quality designs. His work not only captured the modern aesthetic of the moment but was exquisitely crafted using materials that were novel to U.S. consumers.
Comprised of generously sized curved backs and seats with hollow stretched oval profiles, the backs attach to the seats on an incline, which is mirrored by the seat. The polished angular chrome arms attach to each side are leveled in a horizontal positioned to contrast against the slanted seats. These armchairs are upholstered in a high end dark ocher silk mix chenille.
The scarce appearance of these chairs would be a perfect addition to any design lovers interior concept. The neutral chenille would compliment various locations such as a living room, den, games room, study, or bedroom.
