A fantastic collectors example of an early production signed 'MR Adjustable Chaise Lounge' by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for Knoll International, 1970s production, possessing its original Knoll International tag to the leather seat cushion. An amazing piece for collectors, connoisseurs of modern design and art, and interior designers working on projects for clients who expect only the best, as this example is all-original, with original leather cushions, original thick saddle leather straps and polished tubular steel frame in great vintage condition.
The original caramel brown leather cushion has attractive light age and patina consistent with light use in a well-cared for environment, and is made from high quality leather as you would expect from Knoll International in the 1970s, which we believe was their height of manufacturing. High quality tubular polished steel frame allows for two different height settings. As they say "they don't make things like they used to". The label dates this example within the 1970s which is an ideal era for this design for collectors.
