Leon Rosen for Pace Collection Burl & Chrome Waterfall Executive Desk, c 1970s
This grand executive desk by Leon Rosen for Pace features an exotic Rosewood colored burlwood floating top and drawers with polished stainless steel waterfall trim, legs and accents. Designed and made in the 1970s and 1980s by Pace Furniture known for their very high end and quality modern furniture.
Such incredible use of luxury materials and quality craftsmanship as you would expect from Pace Collection and exemplifies the saying 'they don't make them like they used to'.
The hue of this burlwood resembles Rosewood, yet we are uncertain of its exact species. Burlwood originates from various trees, forming where growths known as burls create unique, exotic grains ideal for crafting magnificent furniture pieces like this Pace desk.
This large sized desk for executives features five drawers, one of which is a file drawer and two slide-out tables for guests or secretary. No key for the locks are present but can be rekeyed if desired.
In beautiful vintage condition, this Leon Rosen for Pace Furniture burl and chrome / stainless steel desk is ready to be used immediately in a work or home office or reception lobby. Consider this desk in a mid-century modern home, or it can work great in other styles such as post-modern, contemporary, traditional, transitional, classical, art deco, country and more.
