Set of Three Tubular Lucite and Nickel Side Tables or Nightstands, 1970s
A stylish set of three 1970s tubular lucite and nickel side tables that also work great as end tables or nightstands. The set includes two lower tables at 15.5" tall which consists of one with clear glass and the other with smoked glass. And then a third table which stands taller at 21" high.
This set is in the style of Charles Hollis Jones and often has been attributed to him. It is not signed, and is also in similar style to works by Karl Springer, Pace Collection by Leon Rosen and Lion in Frost.
The glass can be replaced if desired, so that they are all clear or all smoked however they also work great with the current variation of glass tint.
This set of three side tables in the style of Charles Hollis Jones would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
