Jens Risom 'Playboy' Armchairs, Set of ThreeAutomaton Vintage Furnishings
These quintessential chairs were popularized by a 1961 publication of Playboy Magazine featuring the iconic leaders of Mid-Century design. This group included Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen, George Nelson, Edward Wormley, Jens Risom and Harry Bertoia. Which originated the use of the archetypal name, the Playboy chair.
This set of three (3) have the original tweed upholstery and each one displays a slight variation of the initial pattern, allowing the formation to be more unpredictable than a regular trio.
These would look excellent in a cosy living room, den, dining room or as a stylish side chair option in a bedroom or nursery.
