*SOLD* Brutalist Handcrafted Sofa, Custom Limited EditionAutomaton Vintage Furnishings
Limited edition, handcrafted sofa by Lou Ramirez. Hefty cushions are encased by vibrant wood frames, bookended by abstract Brutalist designs and a stylistic, manufactured patina. Elevated by a base with light metal laminate.
The Brutalist movement of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s stemmed from a post-war surge in the usage of raw, unrefined materials and pioneered by such influencers as Paul Evans, Silas Seandel, C. Jeré and Laurel. Much like the original designs of the era, this sofa created using recycled materials; revived into new, evocative, lavish pieces.
Price includes reupholstery in COM (Client's own materials).
