*SOLD* Eames Sofa by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman MillerAutomaton Vintage Furnishings
Featuring two floating solid wood teak backrest panels and plush foam cushions upholstered in black leather, this settee is equally fitting for a home or office space. The exemplary design would fuse well and complement a contemporary, Mid-Century Modern, minimalist or transitional setting.
Ray and Charles Eames designed the Eames Compact Sofa in 1967 to complement the soft pad collection, showing off a harmonious blend of wood, leather and polished chrome. The Eames Sofa was the last piece of furniture produced by the Eames office and was completed after Charles Eames died in 1978.
Excellent vintage condition. As expected, minor signs of wear consistent with age. Please contact us for a full inspection report.
