Alveo' Sideboard Cabinet by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, circa 1970s Italy

$8,100.00

This 1970s 'Alveo' cabinet, which works excellent as a sideboard or small credenza, designed by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot. The modern design consists of angled mirrored stainless steel edges and matching half circle handles which when together form full circles. The cabinet's finish is in a high gloss lacquer over dark brown.

Rizzo was known for deliberately avoiding mass production and remained focused on a concept of traditional materials and craftsmanship, as displayed in this piece.

The combination of clean, simple lines and bold form of this sideboard cabinet by Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot would work wonderfully in a range of interiors, for example, an open plan Contemporary or Post-Modern condo, Neoclassical Dining Room, Mid Century or Italian Modern eclectic bungalow. It would also be ideal in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, or executive office.
