Exquisitely executed lacquered goatskin and brass nightstands by Colombian designer Enrique Garcel, circa 1970, signed with labels underneath. Smooth rounded edges and corners provide safety for the bedroom or living space for you and your little ones, whether they be children or pets.
These large nightstands which also function great as end tables, have large expansive tops to place lamps, books, remote controls and more. Exceptionally well-crafted, these Garcel tables feature two large pull-out drawers on each nightstand, and two art nouveau styled patinated brass handles on each drawer. Beautifully curvaceous, this pair of nightstand tables are the perfect juxtaposition between modern and classical design.
This elegant pair of nightstands, or side tables, by Enrique Garcel for Jimeco Colombia would be a great used together or individually around the house in a classic or contemporary dining room, living room, den, family room, office or bedroom. They would also be an apt choice in a corporate, retail or hospitality location such as a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium. Would work great in rooms with design styles similar to Karl Springer, Steve Chase and James Mont.
