Fine Maison Jansen Brass Inlay and Exotic Marquetry Regency Commode, c. 1960s

A beautiful fine Maison Jansen commode (France, c. 1960s) with exotic marquetry woods, brass inlay and brass trim, a similar example documented in the book 'Jansen Furniture' by James Archer Abbot.
We provided this commode with a new French Polish leaving everything original underneath the polish. We cleaned and polished the brass trim and hardware and left the gentle age on the exotic marquetry wood found underneath the surface of the thick glossy French Polish which has a mirror-like finish.
Ideal for collectors and luxury homes or offices, this Maison Jansen chest of drawers / dresser cabinet would work great in a French Neoclassical, Classical, Art Deco, or Hollywood Regency home. Also consider mixing it up in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, Danish Modern or Zen / Minimalist room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
