Harvey Probber Dresser, Credenza or Sideboard, c 1960, Refinished, Signed

This classy and sophisticated dresser, which would also work great as a sideboard or credenza, was crafted by Harvey Probber, circa 1960, just completed restoration, and is signed with its original 'Furniture designed by Harvey Probber, Fall River, Massachusetts' metal tag inside the upper drawer.

Featuring exotic grained wood doors and matching handles which give a refined and elegant style, there are four drawers to the right - one with a nicely lined sliding organizer tray. Behind the two sliding doors are eight additional drawers suited for different types of organization.

This Harvey Probber cabinet would work great as a cupboard, breakfront cabinet, buffet, sideboard, credenza, etagere, china cabinet and would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition.
