Leather 'Tucroma' Armchair by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani, 1970s, Signed
A beautiful Tucroma armchair by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani in beautiful light grey leather with polished chrome frame. The seat and back retains its original supple light gray leather upholstery and attached to graceful steel tubular frames, as well as being bridged together by wide leather saddle straps at the back with hand-tied detail. The fabric on the underside of the seat cushion is Mariani's logo fabric used in the 1970s and 80s indicating this is an early production collectible chair in excellent vintage condition.
i4 Mariani was a specialty Italian design division of the Pace collection and Guido Faleschini was the star designer who created famous designs such as the Tucroma line and a line of bedroom furniture for Hermès.
