Macassar Ebony French Art Deco Dining Table in the style of Dominique, c. 1940

This gorgeous French Art Deco dining table in exotic Macassar Ebony wood, which would also work beautifully as a desk, was just restored in a French Polish lacquer. From circa 1930s / 1940s France, this incredible table is in the style of Dominique featuring flared sabre legs and ebonized accents.
The French Polish we just completed accentuates the exotic Macassar wood grain and provides greater thickness and protection against regular daily use. While it is the most expensive form of restoration, as it requires numerous applications of hand applied lacquer, it is worth every penny as it beautifies and protects this incredible work of art.
This Ebony Maccassar French Art Deco dining table or desk with saber legs would work great in an Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Post-Modern or Mid-Century Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, Danish Modern or Zen / Minimalist room. Also consider mixing it up with this gorgeous Maccasar table in a Traditional, Transitional, or Classical room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
