Pair of Jorge Zalszupin for L'Atalier Brazilian Modern Lounge Chairs, circa 1960
Newly imported from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this rarely available pair of T-chairs by Jorge Zalszupin and manufactured by L'Atalier encapsulates the quality and innovation of his designs. Comprised of a sleek chrome frame that has a similar base as the "Presidencial" chair that supports the tufted seat and back cushions which are attached to frame via looped upholstery straps, securing them in place. A phenomenal designer substitute to the Barcelona lounge chair by Mies van der Rohe for Knoll International.
The scare appearance of these club chairs would be a perfect addition to any design lovers interior concept. The neutral color would compliment various locations such as a living room, den, games room, study, or bedroom. They would also be Apt in a hospitality or corporate location such as, a boutique hotel, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium. These side chairs would pair wonderfully with low tables, credenza's or desks from Sergio Rodrigues, Percival Lafer and other Brazilian Modern or Mid-Century Modern items.
