Pair of Refinished Post-Modern Nightstands or End Tables by Lane, c 1980, Signed

This item is sold out

This pair of refinished nightstands which also function great as end tables or small chests / cabinets are by Lane and very similar to the 'Less is More' collection by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin.

Both nightstands or end tables feature two drawers with brass trim. Both are signed with 'Lane' stamps on inside drawers and sit on top of brass trim bases. Incredible vibrant lacquered wood grain and hidden pulls give this circa late 70s / early 80s design a post-modern vibe.

This pair of nightstands are very similar to and possibly inspired by ones designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin and would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
