Restored 'Pueblo' Brutalist Bedroom Dresser Set by Lane, 1970s, Signed

This fully refinished set of Mid-Century Modern 'Pueblo' brutalist highboy dresser and credenza dresser, created by Lane Altavista in the 1970s, features a cubist style wood arrangement across the fronts. Each of the modernist blocks of wood has a rich and unique grain, each going a different direction to create a collage of different textures. An amazing Mid-Century Modern addition to a bedroom set, or perhaps an essential storage addition to a living room or office. In the style of Paul Evans and Adrian Pearsall, this pair of chest of drawers are an excellent option for an interior designer or Mid-Century Modern aficionado and collector.

The Highboy features two upper doors which reveal an interior space that consists of two sections which have moveable and removable shelves, currently configured to have 5 cubby sections, and two interior sliding drawers. Underneath are two more exterior pull-out drawers which all sit atop a plinth base.

The low dresser (or credenza) features two cabinets doors which open to three interior pull-out drawers six slide-out drawers flanked on both sides by three exterior pull-out drawers. Plenty of storage capacity in this pair of 1970s Lane Modernist dressers.

This pair of Lane Altavista dressers would work great as a highboy, dresser or chest of drawers, cupboard, cabinet, or tall credenza and would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern or Danish modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a contemporary or Postmodern room or office.
