This rare and monumental dining table by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Saridis of Athens (signed under both sections), circa 1950s, is a prime candidate for the discriminating collector - not only is it incredibly rare, it is also in fantastic original condition. This fine work of functional art features two legs finely carved in an acanthus leaf motif with tiered square bases wrapped in brass. The solid wood top has a gorgeous mitered edge. As you can see in the photo gallery - this example has the original early production Greek labels, plaques and stamps near each leg (2 labels, 2 stamps and 2 plaques). This is such an exquisite example of such a rare design - if you are considering this piece, consider purchasing it quickly before someone else does, especially if you already have or plan to get the Saridis of Athens Klismos chairs.
