Viennese Collection Dressers by Dorothy Draper for Henredon, circa 1960, Signed
A gorgeous restored pair of rare 'Viennese Collection' dressers by Dorothy Draper for Henredon, designed and made in the early 1960s, this pair is priced individually and we have two (2) available at the time of this listing. Signed inside the top drawer, "Viennese Collection Henredon Fine Furniture" and solid brass pulls are stamped and numbered.
These incredible chest of drawers by Dorothy Draper feature incised gold geometric honeycomb shapes with solid brass drawer pulls over a backdrop of 'dusty rose' pink finished in a beautiful soft lacquer. Finished on all sides so no need to have to place against a wall, these can float in a room.
Perfect option for interior designers looking for a magazine cover worthy statement piece to complete a room, but also ideal for collectors as the Viennese Collection is exceptionally rare and highly sought-after for obvious reasons.
This Viennese Collection commodes by Dorothy Draper would work great in a Hollywood Regency, Art Deco, Post-Modern or Mid-Century Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, Danish Modern or Zen / Minimalist room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, or Classical room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office.
